I don't get it

We have had Netflix for about 4 years. Just watched it on the Computer and a 23" monitor for a couple years and it wasn't as good as it is on Roku and FireTVwith 50 inches of HD. We just love everything about it as opposed to paying for Cable TV. Been reading all the complaints about things like font size, not enough new content,, on and on. The fact is that you can't please everybody and they have over 86 million subscribers. They released 126 original series or films in 2016. At least they are trying. The technology is fairly new and to be honest I find it astounding. If I had one complaint it would be about the "are you still watching" prompt. I hate finding my dinky remote which usually ends up under may chair or something. *** Yes I'm still watching! I paid for the month didn't I?? It would be worth another dollar or 2 to get rid of that!

Tried to go thru Netflix.com for this complaint--unavailable

1) The font size for the main Netflix first TV screen is way too small. (No, I'm not talking about subtitles--already fixed that.) All of the attention is on the flashy graphic previews, while you are straining to see what the program is about as they allot a little tiny corner of your screen to read what looks like 4 point type on a video stream. All of that real estate devoted to what amounts to a flash screen preview (1/2 the TV screen) and yet the synopsis font is so small there is no way to read it or enlarge it. (Btw, I called Customer Service and all Steven was aware of was the subtitle issue and just told me to change that. He had no idea what I was even talking about although he was a very pleasant young man.) Also, I found this issue written as a complaint in 2014 on Quaro--some of it simply copied above. I did not include his rants and I took the liberty to explain a little further. But, a 2014 complaint and it's STILL an issue??? He, too, had called Customer Service about this issue. Someone isn't doing their job. Personally, I would've fired them had they been in my employ. The other gentleman switched to Hulu. 2) The "you might like" previews come up the minute the closing music starts. Even if you do click one of the previews to watch it, the minute you pause you are right back to your previous movie.....so you'd better get out a piece of paper and pencil and write down what you just started to watch because it's gone for good.

"incorrect password"

I was trying to log into my Netflix and it told me I had the incorrect password but I knew it was the right password because I know the password and it's the right one so I tried several times to log in but it wouldn't let me so I ended up trying to call Netflix but they gave me a whole bunch of advice that didn't work so and then I tried restarting my computer but that didn't work at all I don't understand because my Netflix works on all of my other devices except my computer and after several times trying to log in the website tells me that they're having "difficulties"

Netflix - Free Trial Review

I subscribe to " free month subscription " and they charged me 7 days after from iTunes and I dispute the charge and I call Netflix , they reinstall my membership and 2 days after I've got charged again so In 10 days since I am watching Netflix,with free month, I paid $20 and I still wait for my money to get back in my account and no service . Horrible costumer service!! I would never come back or recommend them!!

Why, Netflix?

Maybe people in the United States wouldn't attempt to use a proxy like Hola so much, if you gave us all the good stuff like you give other countries. like Australia, and the United Kingdom. If you are going to give other countries such different stuff, then you should put all the same content for everyone, or allow us to use the proxy. My child loves Paw Patrol and the Bee Movie, just as much as the canadian, or child in the United Kingdom does, she should be able to watch it like them, I pay the same amount. Im getting charged on a credit card and i also do not have an account with them, no phone number on the charge, I have spent months attempting to stop the charges, this is very frustrating!

Horrible New Netflix Interface Changes

Most of these changes are confusing and frustrating to put it mildly. Hate the huge, slow, full page ads, you get as soon as you sign in. Even with 25mbps internet, it is slow. It is cumbersome to actually get to the basic menu, to switch Seasons or choose episodes, unless you already know how to do this. I hate the cutting off of the Credits, for advertising other shows, when I am interested in watching the Credits. After calling Support I was told I could disable automatic loading of next episode, but I like that feature, after I quit the Credits, not choosing one or the other.

I thought I was the only one for a moment who thought the new UI is terrible. Besides the clunky forced video loading, did they remove the ability to see user reviews? Did they also remove the option to see the episode details during play?

HATE the Netflix interface on Roku 4

I have been a Netflix customer since the start. I just upgraded from a Roku XD to Roku 4 and am seriously considering canceling Netflix because of the interface. I should add I also finally got a large flat screen HD tv. The interface on the Roku 4 uses such a small font that I can no longer read the short blurbs about programs--even on this HD tv, and the actors are listed in an even smaller font. This eye test and the layout of the grid makes searching for something to watch a misery. I do not want half the screen used for previewing. I do not want anything to automatically start playing! Just because I'm using my profile (yet another new aggravation) does not mean there are not others viewing with me that I would prefer not see and or hear the beginning of some movies that automatically preview/play. Hey Netlix! Not everyone of your customers is between the ages of 18 & 35 with perfect eyesight. Why in the world would you make these changes and not give us paying customers a choice?

Only Three Rentals at a Time

Hello Netflix has recently at least started to allow only three rentals at a time. I would prefer to be able to rent a variable number of discs greater than three. At this time even their chat is down or maybe I'm not attempting to contact them at the right time. It seems harder to contact them. This seems strange as though the extra profit is not worth the service or is something or things else of consideration in play. I would have rather tried to talk to them concerning this but it seem bizarrely difficult so I'm doing this writing complaints both snail mail and e-mail to bring their attention to this matter.

Foreign Movies

Netflix used to have at least a few domestic known film stars a month now it is a bunch of garbage with tons of movies and shows with languages that no one can understand I am a US subscriber and pay for entertainment I can understand and with the language of our country which by the way is still English and with no way even to complain to them as they do not have an email address it is baloney They need to consider their customer that put them in and keeps them in business and it certainly is not some Russian or Mexican film company I am seriously looking for some alternatives
