As of yesterday, Netflix disabled the option to Manage Netflix ready devices and computers. In the past you could see all your activated devices, and which device had watched what (something as a parent you would be looking for), and even preventing your account from...

We are avid users of both netfix disc service and streaming inernet movies. Our problem is that when using the streaming feature our movies drop out mid movie. We have error code and retry messages, and sometimes have to go back to the selection page and restart. We...

You're not alone. Netflix was a gift from my daughter.
When she returns from vacation, Netflix will be a bad memory.
If any of you consumers are thinking of signing up ? DON"T!!!!

Netflix.. bait and switch; definition of..
"Your favorite programs.. to your TV.." Fantastic! So what if we have to upgrade our internet speed through Quest, right? Finally! We can watch episodes of our favorite program whenever we find the time! Oh! It's only for a limited period of time? So, if we don't watch every program w/in a specified period of time, the program becomes (w/out warning) suddenly inaccessible; as in "Dexter", our favorite show. Bye bye netflix. Can't believe you're legally allowed to sucker people in that way and then deprive them like that. It's like a sucker punch. You suck.

Netflix is a Ripoff
I have an Xbox 360 and I have Netflix. I'm disappointed that it takes them like 4 months to get the newest movie. And when they finally get it they have on for 2 to 4 weeks then its unavailable and it might not come out again in months or even years. Here is a couple examples. I tried watching the old batman movies and I didn't have time because of exams and other things. When i finally had time it was gone. And I'm a big fan of 2 and a Half Men, and Netflix doesn't even have it yet.

Netflix is garbage, customer service is non-existant
Netflix has the worst customer service of any online company. Period. There is no way to email them a problem because they don't have an email. No joke, it is an online company, in the year 2011, with no email. Why don't they have an email address? It is pretty obvious: because it drastically reduces the amount of complaint emails they get. I just tried calling them with an intermittent problem I am having with Silverlight, the microsoft piece of *** they force you to watch movies on. Every once in a while, this will lock up my system and force me to reboot. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes to talk to them about it. When I finally got hold of a kid (no joke, he sounded like 18 or 19 years old) I was told there was basically nothing they could do, but I should feel free to report the problem if it happens again. I am on their streaming internet plan. The selection is pretty minimal. They claim to have thousands of titles, but there are only 100-200 or so titles that most people will find watchable, and of those titles, only about 20-30 are movies, the rest are TV shows. Much of the content is available elsewhere (pbs.com, nbc.com, etc) and most of the movies are pre-1995, definitely no current movies. I just want to remind everyone that in most areas you can get movies from your local library. In my area, I can use my library card online, request a bunch of dvds (with a selection as good as netflix) and when they are ready, I go pick them up at my library. Can I mail them back or stram them online? no. Do I have to pay for them? also, no. So I don't know what the profanity policy is on this website, but huge middle fingers to netflix .... I will be cancelling at the end of the billing cycle. Get bent, netflix.

Netflix want change, money grubbers
The reason netflix retrieves all the time is there alot like other companys weve made large. The millions they made off us never comes back to the consumer, like taking part of the money and upgrading servers and other equipment to handle the growing popularity of streaming online movies. I owned 3 different products this year thinking something was wrong with all, but to my surprise it was the company that takes money out of my account (NETFLIX) every month, even though i cant talk to or email anyone to get any results!!!!!! People we have rights by law , remember theres an agreed contract. So everyone just cancel and all of us stick together to see how they like paying out of pocket to fix the problem that should have been fixed b4 CEOs and god only knows who took home a quarter million or more a piece with five tropical vacations each a year!!!!!! Companys cant sell crapy products if no one buys them.

Netflix watch instantly is not as good as they claim!
Netflix is a good product, but their watch instantly needs work. The kind of movies that you can get on watch instantly are the movies you wouldn't really rent anyways. Even older movies, if they are any good you can't get them on watch instantly. It is pretty bogus, and what sucks is that the watch instantly is included in the price you pay. Netflix definitely needs to broaden their selection of watch instantly movies. I am going to check blockbuster online and see what they have going on. If it is better than Netflix I will change and I encourage others to do their research as well.

NETFLIX.............*** off paying customers
Netflix's recent changes in web design has included not only unnavigable pages, but they took out customer reviews. They are doing all they can to aleinate their paying customers in favor of a new look. Check out their blog http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?postID=588154****74790****&blogID=276505****62610****&isPopup=false&page=1 and read what over six hundred paying customers had to say about the new format. Netflix is arrogant and needs your input. Please go there and post your displeasure at the recent changes on their web page. Also, send an email to their CEO, Reed Hastings, reed.hastings@***.com and convince him that what they did is a poor business decision which will cost Netflix customers.

Netflix Refuses Credit for Playstation Network Down Time
As some of you know, Sony Playstation Network was down again during the first week of June for several days. The system logs you in through SPN first before allowing Netflix to stream movies to a Playstation player. Netflix arrogantly refused to credit my account for the days I was unable to stream movies through my Playstation to a TV. They claimed that since their network was up, they're giving no one credit or any other form of compensation. Although a credit would be a few cents worth, it's a poor reflection on Netflix's customer service to refuse offering some gesture for those unable to make use of their service while Playstation Net was down. Even a free extra DVD rental offer would have been kind. I'm very disappointed with how Netflix chose to handle this with loyal, long-term customers. Anyone else tried to get a response from Netflix for the Playstation outage?

Signed up for Netflix, wouldn't let me add to ***
Signed up with Netflix (paid subscription, not the free trial) and it wouldn't let me add any DVDs to my ***. Called the 24 hr phone line, and the message said to call back later (because of unusually high call volume) and hung up on me. NetFlix FREE offer saved me money!
Finally, after many, many months (years, even) I decided to try NetFlix. All my friends said, "Don't do it. You won't like it!" Finally, a coworker said it's great; get it for the instant streaming stuff and it will pay for itself. It's so convenient, you can catch up on your shows, get DVDs in the mail, etc. Saw that NetFlix had a FREE month offer. And "After that, it's only $7.99 a month from then on, for unlimited blah, blah, blah...." I decided: What could I lose, right? Well, thank goodness it was FREE, because I sure gained a lot of aggravation and lost a lot of time...all for nothing. Well, I noticed right at the start that I'd have to pay an extra $2.00 per month to get DVDs. And if I wanted "unlimited" DVDs I'd have to pay an extra $2...and oh, wait, you can only have one out at a time...okay, I decide to pay the extra to get "unlimited"...what's $11.99 a month, right? Not too bad...oh, wait, you want Blu-ray? That's another $2.00...wait just a minute: now $7.99 has gone to $14 really quick! Grrrr!!! Okay, I *** the bullet and sign up.... So, I find out that it will take days to get a disc in the mail, and I randomly pick a TV series I've been wanting to catch up on that I missed most of when it came out...so I set my brand new NetFlix-ready Blu-ray player up and click on the show I want...YAY!!! It starts playing right away, watch five minutes of it, then decided to go to bed. Oh, wait, I do want to watch it...but.... Thirty minutes later I still can't get the episode to restart...and to drive the final nail deep into the NetFlix coffin: nothing NetFlix related plays at all. *** NetFlix logo stays at "Getting titles..." for 10 minutes. I power off the player, turn it back on...and it never gets passed "Getting titles..." Thirty minutes later I'm still waiting. So, I cancel my membership and never look back. I don't need this kind of aggravation, false advertising, misleading promises. I ... JUST ... DON'T ... NEED ... IT!!! I figured after more than a decade of operating they'd have all the kinks worked out. Boy, was I wrong! I'm just glad the FREE trial was actually FREE...that is until in a month's time a NetFlix charge shows up on my credit card statement and I have to start the aggravation all over again!!

Netflix
Netflix is a big scam. I registered to use the service today for the first time ever (my teenage daughter registered before using our info without our permission, and we canceled the account a while back). and they let me input all of my information, then promptly denied us the free trial. They could have done this at the beginning, but were very misleading in doing it at the end hoping we'll just sign up and pay. We are very affluent and have no trouble paying the 10 bucks a month if there is a decent selection of movies, but we will not be scammed into it using these tactics. Now I'm glad we weren't able to get a free trial. Just learned from neighbors that their discs are scratched half the time and the streaming videos are very limited.

Netflix removed sortable lists
So now instead of sorting by date or genre to find what I want, I have to SCROLL through photos of movies in some haphazard order. This is not consumer-friendly. Oh and when I wanted to contact them about it... no freaking email address or option to contact (unless related to deliveries. This is BS, the service just keeps getting crappier and crappier. Hey Netflix, you do know that other companies are starting to stream too. . . hello Amazon etc. Netflix will just lose more customers to newer providers. Netflix, go back to the old format and go back to emailed complaints.

Netflix Needs An Overhaul
The concept of Netflix is wonderful. Here is what is not wonderful about Netflix. (1) Watch Instantly movie category is full of 'B' *** movies. (2) Site takes to long to load - moving around the site clicking on things takes too long to load. (3) Most of the DVD's you get have scratches etc. they skip and don't play. (4) Links don't work in FireFox - you would think a big website like Netflix would test their site in main browsers. (5) Make sure your servers can handle the load before you get greedy and sign up thousands more.

Netflix has turned into a piece of ***.
Due to the fact that there is no way to contact Netflix other than sitting on hold forever to speak to some imbecile about the problems I have been having, I have ended up here. I signed up for netflix, not for the mail in DVD's, but for the "watch instantly" feature on my PS3. Normally I have no problems, but for the last month or so, the service has been entirely unacceptable. My shows stop half way through to "retrieve" in which 90% of the time it "retrieves" half way just to come up with a message saying "we are unable to connect you with Netflix. Please go to netflix.com/tvhelp for guidance." In which I do so and it offers no assistance whatsoever. Mind you, this problem happens if by some miracle I can get my show to even start. I have checked my internet connection on the PS3 and it is perfect. Today I log onto to Netflix and it tells me there was an update for me to install. I do so, thinking to myself that this may actually solve the problem, only to find that it stopped my show, kicked me out of Netflix all together, and now when I try to start netflix it circles between asking me If I am a member, I say yes, then it tells me "unable to connect please try again" I click ok, it takes me right back to asking me if I am member, and the cycle repeats itself. Since this issue began, I recently upgraded my account to be able to receive DVD's. Yesterday my $16 payment was automatically deducted from my account, and yet, I still cannot use this service I pay for. I am greatly anticipating a new, functioning form of "watch instantly" television that actually works, and has positive customer service. Until then, *** Netflix, you just lost a paying customer.

Just Like most of the above...been streaming from Netflix for 3+ years and the last 9 months or so the stall, restarts, and loading times have increased to the point that it is hardly worth bothering with...would love an alternative...
