Don't believe Netflixs free trial
I started a trial account with Netflix last year. I canceled the account after the 30days because I didn't want it yet. Well, at least I thought I canceled it. I was going through my bank statement today and realized I had random charges of $10.69 from Netflix. I realized that I did have another account that I started with them. I had it for about 3 or 4 months. I had canceled that account back in March, though. Well I figured they were charging me for this account still. I called and spoke with a representative. He informs me that I actually had 2 accounts with them. One has been open for a year. I was like uhh...no. I canceled that account after the trial ran up. He says that I didn't. He only refunded me the pending transaction from today. My advice, stay away from this company. I would have recommended them if this had never happened but I can tell that they are shady and will ignore cancellations just to keep charging your credit card.

Netflix Free Trial
I've had continuous delays in shows being watched. very annoying.
over all netflix is the greatest. if you can get rid of the stalls it could be close to perfect. OK! the Picture quality is about as good as any of the other network, such as,Dish, direct, etc The categories are easy to follow and netflix search engine is easy to use. However, there is one thing more that could improve upon the netflix service. Live NEWS & WEATHER could be very helpful. Such as, FOX, WALLSTREET, ETC.OK! Now, here's something that usually is the first or the last to be mentioned, PRICE, COST, or RATE. Naturely, research and develpment tends to drive all these things UP or DOWN, mostly UP. I for one came to you not just for the no-commercial shows, but also for the monthly rates.

Netflix stinks!
We have had Netflix f or several months. The streaming quality is horrible and it's like watching a VHS movie on an HDTV. Also, their new releases consist of "Step-Brothers" which was released in 2008, and you can only order it through mail on dvd. Most of the good movies are only through mail DVD & then you never know which DVD they will actually sent you off of your list. We bought a special wireless router just for our TV to connect to our wireless network in our house which cost about $100. Waste of money! Netflix is horrible all the way around and a complete waste of money!

Instant Watching and Multiple Answers...
I've been recieving the "You can only instantly watch one movie at a time" message lately when before I'd been able to watch instantly on my xbox, ps3 and wii. All I really wanted was a straight answer but I still have not gotten one. Everyone I call gives me a different answer and the last rep actually refused to connect me to a manager. First it's... I'm sorry, that's just an error. We are working on it. Second it's.... Yeah, you have to upgrade to be able to watch on another device. Third it's... You can watch instantly on two devices for 9.99 with one dvd out. Two dvd's out and watch on two devices still for 14.99 then to watch on all three devices you have to have 3 dvd's out at 19.99. Then again called and stated, error. Then you should only be able to view on one device right now. I'm so frustrated with all the different answers. I'm searching right now for a replacement to netflix. I"ll pay more. I don't even care. Customer service and getting a straight answer means more to me than cost.

The last 3 Netflix movies were visably broken!! Two were the same movie! Three in a row!!
It was very difficult to find where to post my problem with Netflix and not sure I'm in the right place. I wrote about my problem which was my last 3 movies were obviously broken!! It makes me mad because had the kids popped it in the DVD player there's no telling what would have happened!! I had this trouble once before and didn't report it I just closed my account!! Sometimes dissatisfied customers will work with the company if they make a proposition but Netflix said they were sorry and that was that so off to Blockbuster I go!! Never again!! I live 30 miles to the nearest rental or I would go myself!!!

Netflix unplayable DVDs
With increasing frequency, Netflix DVDs must be washed prior to use in order to remove the greasy smudges left by careless consumers. Couldn't Netflix do this? Now, we're seeing DVDs that are too scratched to play. Or they play part (or nearly all) the way through before beginning to show large, solid pixels, then freezing and refusing to go on. We have sent the same scratched disk back twice, having yet to see the end of the movie. Finally, Netflix seems to have no way to register a complaint such as this except by telephone. Who wants to wade through multiple layers of phone menus and wait for 5-10 minutes to do what could be done in 30 seconds online?

Netflix -
About half of the movies I"ve "tried" to watch using instant movies have been irretrievably lost due to "network is down" messages. I've been a loyal Netflix fan for 6 years, but this instant thing isn't worth a *** right now. I hope they get it fixed. You have to restart the whole show, or bring the laptop to the recliner to finish the movie/show. Makes the instant thing an instant joke. I am so tired of seeing the network is down that I could scream. Netflix should really remedy this. Effin Netflix. x xxx xxx xxxx

Streaming video selection is a joke.
If you plan to watch movies or TV shows via Internet streaming (not DVD rental) then you will be very disappointed in the selection. It is a small portion of rental disc library, not the good shows or movies, and almost never includes a sequel or multiple seasons, forcing you to go without or pay more to add disc rental options to see the rest. For example, the first Bourne Identity movie can be watched streaming but not Bourne Ultimatum or Bourne Supremacy. The same is true for every other set I looked up. I assume they do this because they make money getting people to add the disc rental option to the monthly service.

Netflix Bad Disks
I have been a Netflix customer for some time now, and have had reasonably good service, but the past 3 out of 5 disks have been damaged. I know most of the times it is caused by USPS transit, but get this: The most recent one came in the package with a post-it note attached to it stating "Bad Disk". How are you going to send a damaged good to a paying customer when you know before hand that it is in-fact damaged? This is terrible business! I'm not one to complain about things but this is just UNACCEPTABLE!

I canceled, they kept billing me, no refund?!?
Listen to this, I signed up for the trial membership, rented only 1 movie, then canceled my account.. I just realized that for the last 10 months they have been charging me. I called them for a refund and the refered me to my C.C. company to dispute the charges but they cant dispute anything past 60 days. I called netflix back and the guy laughed in my face saying "well we were letting you know about the charges on your C.C. billing statement" what a joke. dont use this service, they are crazy, and everyone says they are slow and the dvds are scratched.

I was new to netflix, but after a month on problems, I give. You can not send them an email, you have to sit on the line to tell them what wrong, that does not do anything, and they end up not being able to do anything about it after you go thru the problem. Start watcing a movie, pause it, come back and it says it not able to play this title, you are half way thru, but too bad, I give, I will not be trying them again. It is rediculas to pay for something you can not use. Of course, I am using a PS# to watch the movies on, and they tell me it is a PS 3 problem

Lots of damaged DVD's from Netflix
I've been using Netflix for about six months now. My membership plan includes both streaming video and two-at-a-time DVD rentals. My first attempt at a Netflix trial membership flopped . . they never shipped the DVD's I selected and I never heard anything back from them after transmitting my acceptance of the trial membership. But after months of hearing from my daughter how great their service is, I broke down and attempted another trial. The second time around, I actually received my DVD's and the turn-around on them was amazingly fast (usually two business days). I found myself wondering how they could do that! After using their DVD service for a couple of months, I decided that it was time to try streaming video. I have the premium internet service from Charter, so my connection is definitely up to the task at 25Mbps. I found the interface on my Netflix interface on my Samsung BluRay player to be a little clunky at first. I couldn't search and stock my Instant ***, but shortly thereafter Samsung provided a firmware update that added the search and add features that I was needing. I find that the number of Netflix "Watch It Now" selections are somewhat limited compared to Vudu, but at such a low cost, that is expected. Now back to the DVD issue . . within the first few shipments of DVD's, I received a DVD that was nearly broken in two. I thought that was odd that they would ship one in that condition, and chalked it up to an anomoly. Wrong ! ! Now that I've been on Netflix for at least six months, I've received at least a dozen DVD's that were unplayable at some point in the movie. In a half dozen instances, we were watching a movie with friends only to have it stop playing mid-way through. Now I always wipe the DVD's with a soft cloth before inserting them into my player, since some of them came to us looking like they had been used for pizza trays. But the issues were generally deep scratches or cracks that made them unplayable. While I haven't kept flawless track of the exact number of damaged DVD's, the percentage of unplayable discs is somewhere close to 10 percent. So if I order ten DVD's per month, that means one of them will be unplayable. Bottom line now is that I pull the DVD's from the sleeves immediately and inspect them, sending any back that have cracks or gouges. If I can clean them up and play them, I do. But often you don't know until you get half way into the movie. Netflix needs to do a better job of making sure you get playable discs.

Netflix says
I'm stunned at the email from Netflix offering 3% of $7.99 credit due to a technical snafu for their streaming. Do the math people and you'll realize that it's not worth the time it takes to open the emaill. Netflix, don't insult your customers. If you're going to say "sorry" how about offering a credit that will truly makes amends with your customer (even if it's a buck, I mean, really?) and at the same time incenting your technical team to make sure this kind of error doesn't happen again. Also, where's the escalation on your web site. There is NO way of directly contacting Netflix by email. This is a joke.

Streaming ADvert is false Advertising
While Netflicks (falsly) advertises that it has a TON of streaming videos the truth is that VERY FEW of their TV/Movies are available streaming. I am guessing only about a third of their movies are available streaming and only a quarter of the tv shows are streaming. That is not very much. There are over 100 shows I would watch except they are thru the mail only. I choke everytime I see their bragging streaming commercial. Guess they are not required to include the fine print with their ads. BTW, for all you people complaining about the streaming pausing and downloading - that is your internet problem, NOT a netflicks problem! You must have highspeed internet (at least 6mb) to run streaming otherwise you will get the downloading issue. I had 3mb and had a few download issues but then upgraded to 10mb and now I have NO problems.
