I live in Los Angeles north of LAX Airport. My nearest Netflix shipping center is Santa Ana, Ca.

about 20 miles away. For more than ten years DVD's have been arriving one day after shipping and one day on the return. Thanksgiving week things went "south". I noticed the estimated shipping time on my queue quietly became "TWO DAYS" but that blew up when two discs shipped TUESDAY NOVEMBER 26 arrived MONDAY, DECEMBER 2.

WOW! Given the Thanksgiving holiday that is still five days for first class mail!!!! Has Netflix now shortened their processing center hours? Is it the post office?

I am estimating their new "delays" in shipping will cost Netflix discs by mail customers at least 4-5 DVD's per month.

Looks like Netflix is deliberately sinking their still-profitable DVD's by mail service. Time for me to cancel as well!
