I signed up with Netflix in June of 2016 for the streaming program $11.99 advertised.They charged me $26.98 for 17 months because they told me I selected a DVD program and the DVDs were never sent.
I asked if I could be refunded the charges or if I could pay the cost of the actual DVDs if they were lost. I was told that Netflix accounts are intended to be self managed and it was my responsibility to call them if they were charging me for nothing. I understand I should've kept an eye on my account, but to steal is to "take without permission or legal right and without intending to return it".
