Loss of control of my account

I haven't had control of my netflix for over 3 years now the cable co says it's netflix then netflix says it's the cable company so what do I possibly do about this please help it's almost 50 bucks a month in massachusetts to keep doing this to your customers why don't you just cancel it I'm freaking irate over this situation and if it don't resolve I'm dropping cable all together facts

Dear Netflix Board,
I am a member since 2008! I am a 68-year-old, disabled, senior citizen, on SNAP benefits.

Your competitors, Disney+, Prime, Peacock, and Apple+, all have offered me discounted services. Yet, when I call your customer service, the first time, I was hung up on for asking the operator to repeat herself. The second operator tells me, 'Netflix would rather I cancel than give me a discount.' That seems harsh, to say the least.


Netflix, I have been with your service since you delivered DVDs. Please, offer me a discount on my UHD service, as I can no longer afford your $25 monthly fee and would rather not downgrade my services.

It is an informed consumer that takes full advantage of market pressures, and seeks to level the playing field. Kudos for taking Netflix to task, when; Disney +, Prime, Peacock and Apple + ALL have been responsible corporations. By responding to economic pressures, in a responsible fashion.

Most genuine Americans WOULD consider a Customer Service Representative hanging up on a paying client TO BE 'rude'. Next? The "Easy Button" phrase and concept originated from a 2005 Super Bowl XXXIX television commercial.... CARE TO STEP INTO THIS DECADE???

This happened to me and I figured out that I had exceeded the number of devices I could be logged into at one time. Once I logged out of the excess devices, it worked on the new one without any trouble.

I was having this issue too where I was only able to log in on the x-box and laptop and what I did was I went into my account on one of the devices I was able to log into. Scroll down and under settings click on sign out all devices. It worked for me and hopefully it will help.

I had this problem, spoke to online adviser today (09/04/20) they said to reset password to one just with numbers in. I lost the chat when I went to reset password but when I logged in again with numbers as password it worked on 2 separate devices. Not sure if she had done something to my account or it will work for everyone but may be worth a shot.

I was charged twice by Netflix this month. On 4/27/2026, I saw two charges: one for my subscription, which I have paid $9.97, but then I saw an extra charge of $25.00 on my Redstone card.

I did not authorize the second charge. Please refund the duplicate charge of $[amount] immediately and confirm that I will not be double-charged going forward.

I just called Netflix. The agent I spoke with, named [PERSON_NAME], had a very bad attitude.

She didn't let me talk and explain what happened. She kept over-talking me and being very rude. When I told her to be nice and have etiquette, she put me on hold and came back to the phone. I told her I no longer wanted to speak to her because of her attitude and tone of voice.

I told her I would like a supervisor to handle the situation because she was being disrespectful for no reason.

She still proceeded to over-talk me, and rudely said she was going to refund me for the cancellation. It left me confused, but glad I was able to get a refund of $8.99.

In Feb 2026, I thought I could add a new member to my premium Netflix account. When I realised that would incur an additional cost of $7.98 per extra member, I quickly remove the additional member without deleting that extra slot (no assignment of additional member to that extra slot!

As a result, I have been charged an extra $7.98 unknowingly since then even though I did not assign a new/additional member to that extra slot.

I only realise only when I received a SMS about card payment issues with my Netflix account. I would appreciate if you could rectify this discrepancy.by refunding my excess payments for the past months since Feb 2026

User's recommendation: I was so difficult to seek clarifications from Netflix what Premium subscription level actually entitles to! My daughter moved house and had difficulties to re-establish connection/service with Netflix and eventually I had to add her as additional slot/member and got charged $7.98 additionally over and above my Premium subscription fee! Later I searched internet and found the following article about what Netflix Premium subscription provides - see attached. Rightfully I should not have been charged $7.98 additionally for the past 2 months!

I have been double charged for months. I was unable to speak to a human.

I got a chat AI . Frustrating, for atleast 4 months I have been dealing with this. I have been paying through my Verizon plan,also to Netflix directly. The payment was forced through and it put my account in arrears, overdraft charges for every item that bounced back.

$35 a pop. 140 worth. My bank will not rectify and says to take it up with you. I have no resolution.

I need my refund. I need it canceled, not from my Verizon plan but from NETFLIX . Frustrating. The name of this service is accurate.

I am indeed pissed. I am a disabled elderly woman who tries to live on less than $1000 monthly from SSDI.

I have Netflix through Verizon. I keep getting charged throu f h my bank account.

[PERSON_NAME] told me she couldn't help me with more than 1 month because of the email I use, when I asked if I could change it. She said no, I asked for canceled she also said no.
I am owed 7 months at 24.99
Unsatisfied, contacted Utilities commissioner. I am being double billed. I demand some sort of refund to my card on file.

This has caused financial hardship as my bank imposes a charge when there is no money to cover. BECAUSE I pay through Verizon.
She refused for me to speak to a supervisor.
