Netflix - Too many graphic sex scenes in new shows
I get it, sex sells, but I don't think that applies to TV series much anymore. Perhaps it did once when *** wasn't easily accessible, but now it just seems useless to have explicit sex scenes.
I definitely could do without them. I'm looking at you Sense8. All that explicitness ruined the show for me.
I could care less if there were LBGT characters in the show, I just don't want to see all of that graphicness, whether it's *** or heterosexual, if I want to watch sex I'll go to a *** site. I just want to watch a good story and not feel uncomfortable.
Reason of review: Distasteful content in shows I want to watch.
Netflix Cons: Irrelevant graphic sex scenes.

They took over Designated Survivor (among other shows..arrested development is another) and Netflix has trashed it. *** is said all the time.
Ridiculous sex scenes. The story line set them up very well, and now something that was half way decent for me to watch in front of my kid, is now not.
Glad I'm not the only one who avoids MA-rated Netflix Originals - along with HBO, Showtime and Starz shows - for this very reason.
Sense8, Orange is the New Black, Dear White People, Flaked. What do they all have in common?
Sex scenes within the first 5 minutes of the first episode starting. Why is this necessary?
I HATE it. It's pathetic
What is going on with netflix? Two original shows I tried watching- "Love" and then "Chewing Gum" both contains EXPLICIT sex scenes- basically soft ***- within the first 2 minutes of the show starting.....
are you kidding me? That's awkward and uncomfortable and most of all UNECESSARY AND GROSS! To some people sex still means something! It's not to be casually trashed around tv like nbd, that's degrading and gross.
Not watching netflix originals anymore. Not worth the gamble of needing to bleach my eyes out.
I completely agree. I started watching sense8 but had to turn it off.
I'm not easily offended but the graphic sex scenes just got to be too much. I guess the art of subtle is a lost art.
It also doesn't just seem to be sense8 but a bunch of Netflix originals. Why does every Netflix original need to have graphic pointless sex scenes?
I agree completely. Sense8 is a good show, but I had to stop watching because it made me feel really uncomfortable. I don't care if it's hetero or homo scenes, I don't want it on my screen, especially if I am watching with other people.
I agree with you Poway
more the better. I want to see more man on man action too. I love seeing someone take it up the back road.
