When I first opened a Netflix account, when Netflix had competition, I could mail a DVD on Monday and get the next DVD on Wednesday. Now that Netflix pretty well has a monopoly on DVD mail rental, I can mail a DVD on Monday and get the next DVD on Wednesday -- a week later, if I"m lucky.

In addition, the number of DVDs that arrive unplayable seems to be drastically increasing. Some are so dirty that they have to be scrubbed to be played. Others, will not play not matter how much cleaning occurs. Forget getting a hard to find DVD.

They are placed permanently on your wait list.

Same issue on slow DVD arrival. Was great during trial period.

Seems like a bait and switch tactic. Lawsuit?

Plus, dirty and dvd's that skip, freeze, etc. gotta be people taking out their frustrations on the disks.

Seeing same here. We won't stay much longer.
